WAI Corp provides various software services and applications ("Services"). This policy describes how we handle information when you use our mobile apps, desktop apps, and websites at sobabear.com.

If you choose to use our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. We use information to provide and improve the Services. We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible through our Services unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use

Most content you create in our apps—such as memos, notes, tags, and calendar entries—is stored on your device and, when you enable it, synced through your own Apple iCloud account. We do not operate our own servers to store your personal memos or notes.

Some features are optional and may process data differently. Non-AI features generally keep your data on your device or within services you control (for example, iCloud). AI features are described in the section below.

Third-Party AI Services

Certain Services offer optional AI-powered features. When you choose to use cloud-based AI (as opposed to on-device Local AI, where available), content you submit may be sent to third-party AI providers to process your request. Providers may include companies such as OpenAI and other cloud AI vendors we integrate with from time to time.

Depending on the feature you use, the following types of data may be transmitted to a third-party AI provider:

  • Text content — memos, notes, chat messages, prompts, transcripts, and other text you enter or select for AI processing
  • Voice and audio — recordings or audio input used for speech-to-text, transcription, or voice-based AI features
  • Images — photos or image files you submit for OCR, analysis, or AI-generated content
  • Video-related content — transcripts, summaries, or metadata from videos you choose to analyze on our web tools

Purpose. We send this data solely to provide the AI feature you requested—for example, generating or editing text, answering questions in a chat, transcribing speech, summarizing content, analyzing images, or producing AI-generated media. We do not use this data for advertising, and we do not sell it to third parties.

When data is sent. Data is transmitted only when you actively use a cloud AI feature or have cloud AI enabled in settings. If you do not use these features, your content is not sent to third-party AI providers for that purpose.

Your choices.

  • Local AI: Where supported, you can use on-device Local AI instead of cloud AI. Local AI processes data on your device and does not send that content to third-party AI providers for processing.
  • Disable cloud AI: You can turn off cloud AI features in app settings or simply avoid using AI features that require an internet connection.
  • Bring your own API key (web tools): Some web Services let you enter your own API key. In those cases, requests are sent directly from your browser to the AI provider using your key, under that provider's terms and privacy policy.

Third-party AI providers process data under their own privacy policies and terms. We encourage you to review the applicable provider's policy—for example, OpenAI's Privacy Policy—when you use cloud AI features.

Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Services, in a case of an error we collect data and information (through third party products) on your device called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the Services when utilizing them, the time and date of your use of the Services, and other statistics.

Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.

Our Services do not use these "cookies" explicitly. However, we may use third party code and libraries that use "cookies" to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Services.

Service Providers

We may work with third-party companies and individuals to help us operate the Services, including:

  • Cloud AI providers (for optional AI features described above)
  • Analytics and crash-reporting tools (to understand errors and improve stability)
  • Infrastructure or hosting providers (for our websites and APIs)

These third parties may access information only as needed to perform tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for other purposes. AI providers receive only the content required to fulfill the specific AI request you initiate.

Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Our Services may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Children's Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 4. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 4. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
